Inaugural speech
Monday, (4/12) at the Amphitarium of Ahmad Dahlan University, Yogyakarta, Prof. Ir. Tole Sutikno, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., IPM, ASEAN Eng. was inaugurated as a professor of Electrical Engineering.
In his inaugural speech entitled Future Electric Transportation Technology Based on Vector Control and Artificial Intelligence, Prof. Tole conveyed how electric vehicles can develop rapidly and contribute to reducing carbon emissions from future vehicles. Furthermore, with the development and integration of Artificial Intelligence into electric vehicles, future transportation technology will be electrified, carbon-neutral, autonomous, and intelligent. Future electric transportation technology trends and innovations will center on efficiency, accessibility, and affordability, specifically designed to combat pollution and congestion.
Prof. Tole is the Head of Ahmad Dahlan University’s Master of Electrical Engineering study program and a researcher who regularly publishes research results in various reputable international journals and publishes books related to the field of research. Prof. Tole is the World’s Top 2% Scientist 2022 based on a ranking conducted by researchers from Stanford University, John P.A. Ioannidis, Jeroen Baas, and Kevin W. Boyack (October 4, 2023) which presents a list of the top 200,000 scientists whose work is widely cited in the publications of other researchers around the world until 2022.
