Diego P. Morales received the M.A.Sc. degree in Electronic Engineering and the Ph.D. degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Granada (Granada, Spain) in 2001 and 2011, respectively. He was an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Architecture and Electronics, Universidad de Almería (Almería, Spain) before joining the Department of Electronics and Computer Technology at the University of Granada, where he currently serves as an Ph.D. Assistant Professor. His current research interests include the combination of digital and analog programmable technologies for smart instrumentation and FPGA-based signal processing systems.
