Dr. Natali Loizidou Ieridou

Nataly Loizidou Ieridou obtained her first degree in Psychology at the University of Nottingham, followed by postgraduate studies in Child Development at London (Institute of Education) and completed her PhD in Psychology at the University of Essex in 2007. Her doctoral research was concerned with literacy development and reading difficulties in Greek. Current research interests lie mainly in the area of educational psychology, specifically in developmental models of reading and spelling acquisition, in developing and applying materials assessing literacy abilities (reading, spelling, phonological awareness etc.).
